Sulphur

Land of the rippling waters.

Our story is Oklahoma’s story.

Early in Sulphur’s history, the area was well regarded for the naturally occurring mineral springs, so much so that local native tribes called it “land of the rippling waters.” Tourism has been a constant economic driver since the very early days of statehood. Today Sulphur is a booming resort destination, with the rebuilt and reimagined Artesian Hotel. Home to Turner Falls, Oklahoma’s largest waterfall, Sulphur boasts a proud heritage as a premiere destination for outdoor exploration and relaxation.
